Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope you and the children are doing well by God’s grace.
This letter is to inform you of key points to know before starting this new
academic year:
1. The school year starts from the 7th of September 2020 for Nursery, Primary and grade7. The first week will be for children to get acquainted with the system and their teachers and so the actual online learning will start on 14thSeptember 2020
2. The school will organize an Open Day for parents to meet new homeroom teachers for introduction at Kigarama campus from 9thto 11th September if the Covid19 situation allows it.
3.
The school has invested in and upgraded the
E-learning system to a better performing one, so online learning will resume
for primary and grade 7.
4. The Nursery will continue as before but with additional support for parents (videos teaching parents on how to help the young ones, teaching materials, and web support).

The current parent’s committee chairperson, Mr.
Francis Nsengiyumva, has stepped down from his functions due to job relocation.
So by observing social distance requirement, the current committee and some representatives
of every class were invited to discuss the interim measures and appointed Mr.
MUHIRE Modeste to act as a chairperson until the upcoming parent committee
elections which will be held during the month of October 2020 at Kigarama
campus.
6. Specific dates and other modalities for the new Parents committee elections will be communicated to you prior to the election dates.

While the school expects all parents will get to
know the new Kigarama Campus during the planned introduction meeting with the
new homeroom teachers, parents are also encouraged to visit the new campus at
their own free time

The school fee structure has been revised for
this online learning period till school resume physically:
o
The Nursery fees reduced to 180.000 RWF/term
o
The primary fees are 300.000 RWF/term
o
Grade 7 fees are 350.000 RWF/term
o
For primary: The confirmation fee of 100.000 RWF
covers the Bilingual Program fees. The remaining yearly fees and normal school
fees will remain the same and be applicable as soon as school resumes
physically.
o For nursery: The 50.000 RWF confirmation fee is an advance on school fees.
9.
As a way to enhance communication, going forward,
all official information (school calendar, official messages, school fees, school
key updates etc.) will be found on the school’s website at www.pathtosuccess.co.rw as the main reference.
